Junk Mail and Spam Received

I've had an E-mail account since 1983, which means I've beem getting spam since about 1988 or so. I've always used filters/spam blockers, hidden my E-mail on my Web site and the like, but I also post to USENET sometimes. Periodically, the level of spam disgusts me so I just change my E-mail address. Based on the huge amount of spam I'm currently getting, I think I'll be doing that again soon.

Now a member of Project HoneyPot.org - a Website that helps track down spammers, harvesters and the like.  

2/7/2010: There's been a huge decline in spam this week - only four pieces in three days (but 190+ pieces in the four days before that). Maybe Spam Assassin is working again!

• Nearly 200 pieces of junk mail/spam/phishing attempts, between 1/19/2010 and 1/24/2010. Full mail headers included (less my mailing information)
• Nearly 300 pieces of junk mail/spam/phishing attempts, between 1/16/2010 and 1/19/2010.
• 161 pieces of junk mail/spam/phishing attempts, between 1/12/2010 and 1/16/2010.
